Lord, thank you for our marriage. You know how the first 12 years were incredibly difficult. Mostly, because I had no business being married. But God you are good, always good. You transformed us individually and as a couple. I know the pain of being in a miserable marriage all while attending church, leading Bible studies and mentoring women. I also know what it means to be transformed by the renewing of my mind that can only be done through Your Word, the Holy Spirit and Godly fellowship. Even though I’ve been a believer for 47 years, I’ve fallen hard – adultery, bankruptcy, a critical, controlling and judgmental spirit, using food instead of You for comfort, isolating myself from the church family, and the list goes on. You still love me, cherish me and have great plans for me; in spite of me. You see me through the blood of your Son, Jesus – white as snow. I’ve lived an incredibly blessed life and I pray that I will be the salt of the earth and to let my light so shine before men, that they may see my good works and glorify my Father in heaven. (Math. 5:16)
Your Holy Spirit is convicting me more and more of the need to get the salt out of my shaker! To actually shake salt onto others – not just accumulate it. I want to speak boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador. (Eph. 6:19-20). You have given us our business and drive-thru prayer for such a time as this. You have called me to be with people, in this very messy world with all my screwups to show others how awesome, forgiving and wonderful You are. Everyday my goal is to use the gifts of organization, discernment and exhortation for Your glory. My prayer every morning is to know You more, hear the Holy Spirit clearly, obey Your Word and be like Jesus. Help us, Lord, to stay focused on you as we open the drive-thru on May 1st.
We give You praise and thanksgiving. You are the creator of all things, the source of all truth, and the reason for our hope and our joy. You alone are worthy of our worship and our praise.
We rejoice that You are our rock and our salvation, our provider and our protector, an ever-present help in our time of trouble. We thank You Lord, that regardless of our circumstances, You are still on Your throne.
Lord, we lift up WeDo Fudge as a living sacrifice to you, may it be a pleasing aroma. Give us wisdom and understanding to manage your business. We pray Lord, that the souls You lead across our paths will be uplifted as You minister to their needs through us. May they find us a place of safety and unconditional love.
Lord, we rejoice in knowing that You are aware of every need, and that Your strength is perfected in our weakness. Your grace and Your mercy are sufficient to make us more than conquerors in Christ.
Help us Father to live our lives as salt and light. Let our joy and our hope shine above our circumstances, and help Charles and me to stand together in unity, as one body. Help us to bear one another's burdens, to put the needs of others ahead of our own.
Give us boldness to share our faith, and strengthen our character that we might not compromise our witness. We ask Father that You bind and separate the forces of evil from us and prepare our hearts and minds to serve You.
Multiply our gifts, skills and offerings to bring honor and glory to Your name Lord. May Your will be done in our lives. We love you Father, and we lift up these prayers in the mighty and matchless name of Your son, our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
Servants of God, by the grace of God
