About UsWhy did we pick WeDo Fudge™ as our business name? We have a sign in our office that reminds us of the characteristics we want as individuals, as a couple and as a business. The sign starts out by saying, “IN OUR HOME…, we do second chances, we do grace, we do mistakes, we do real, we do I’m sorry, we do funny, we do loud really well, we do hugs, we do family, we do love.” As we were trying to come up with a unique name, we read completely through the list on the wall and naturally added the phrase, “and we do fudge!”

“We do” allowed us to reflect on how our marriage, once on the verge of divorce, was rescued by God. We remembered that on October 29, 1994, we both said “I do” to our vows. “We do” was the end result of being a couple, not “I do” as individuals. That is how our name was born. When you think of us, don’t just think of our great tasting fudge; think of commitment, generosity, forgiving hearts, and kindness. Think of love, not only the love we have for God and each other, but also the love and commitment we have for you. These are principles upon which our company was founded and ones we will continue to uphold!

Company Biography

Christina’s background as Professional Organizer led her to Michele Michel, a Master Confectioner and owner of Something Sweet in Antioch, Illinois. Michele and Christina became good friends and worked together for ten years. During this time, Michele taught Christina many of her candy-making secrets.
After Christina’s mother passed away in 2011, she and Charles left Illinois and embarked on a journey across the Western United States in a motorhome to find their retirement community. In August 2012, they found Sequim and promptly fell in love with the town and the people. They noted that Sequim (pronounced Skwim) did not have a candy store. Christina contacted Michele and asked if she could use some of her recipes and give fudge-making a try. Michele not only gave her approval, she gave Christina her supplier contacts, her recipes and invited them back to Illinois for a series of intensive training sessions.
In April 2013, Charles and Christina founded WeDo Fudge by making and selling fudge for the local farmer’s market and a few local retail stores. In late 2013, their own commercial kitchen was approved by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
In 2018 Christina created a new product...Cashew Delight. For years, Charles wanted something else to offer customers, but Christina resisted saying "WeDo Fudge". The challenge was to create a product that is different but uses the same equipment and ingredients.
In addition to their drive-thru, they have a thriving wholesale business. They specialize in creating private labels for retail stores, businesses using their fudge as a thank you gift or groups raising funds for sports, clubs or activities.
In 2020 King5 interviewed Christina. Watch here... https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=youtube+king5+drive+thru+prayer&docid=608036334201539260&mid=E7DDE731956153BB0DFDE7DDE731956153BB0DFD&view=detail&FORM=VIRE

Bible Verse Cards
One of the principles upon which WeDo Fudge was founded is that we want to serve our Lord Jesus in all “WeDo”, including the operation of our business. We decided early on to add a Bible verse to every package of fudge that bears a “WeDo Fudge” label (if you are a wholesaler and wish to forego the Bible verse, we offer a private label).
